I’m trying to get a hold of Bandcamp and ask them if they remember my purchase of The Realistic because it never downloaded and the email address failed, now it’s never to return. So I’m hoping they can send another link to Realistic and to the newer one Drive this Comet.? If need be., I’ll purchase both, that is not a problem . These two downloads are the only thing missing from my nearly complete collection of your music. Chuck Bird was a close friend and we shared your music what he did not have, I had, and he would do the same for me. You never had a more ardent fan. He “ only spoke of you and your music. mo497 Pure instrumental guitar bliss from the maestro! Lots of tasty licks mainly in a rock vein, but Falling Water is an evocative masterpiece and one of Bill's most beautiful recorded performances.
"Unreal"! Favorite track: Falling Water.

Coach Matt One of Bill's best I believe. He was not kidding when he said, more good music is ahead. I find this album very sensual, pleasing and yet invigorating. Plenty of Bill Nelson sounds we all come to enjoy. And with the lovely ebow injections. Favorite track: Elliptic Waterfall.

’The Unrealist’ is an instrumental album featuring 15 prominent electric guitar, keyboard and percussion tracks in a mainly rock setting but with some gentler, more reflective pieces plus a couple of abrasive avant-garde moments, (and, of course, the occasional jazzy mood.) It will hopefully appeal to those fans who enjoy my extended guitar improvisations.
This is only available as a digital download. No CD version has been released.

Bill Nelson

Founder of Be-Bop Deluxe in 1973, guitarist Bill Nelson wrote all of the bands material. Signed to EMI, the band released five studio albums and scored a top ten UK hit with the single "Ships In The Night."
In 1979 Bill disbanded Be-Bop Deluxe and launched Red Noise.
As a solo artist he's worked with David Sylvian, Harold Budd and Cabaret Voltaire as well as producing The Skids and Gary Numan. ... more

John Drumbo French from Captain Beefheart and The Magic Band worked with Thompson on two albums along with Fred Frith and Henry Kaiser. Those two French, Frith, Kaiser and Thompson albums led me to this. Also, Richard Thompson taught Hugh Cornwell (of The Stranglers) how to play the bass guitar in a band when they were both at the same school (Emil and The Detectives?).
